Abstract

This study analyzed the anti-corruption education management model amid academic units in Kepahiang District, Bengkulu Province. Participants in this study included the Head of the Education and Culture Office in the local district, curriculum developers in various educational units, and working groups (POKJA) from different academic departments. The data were gathered from interviews and documentation, then triangulated to pursue credible data. The data were carefully analyzed using an interactive model starting from collecting data, condensing data, displaying data, and drawing a conclusion. The findings revealed some phases in the anti-corruption education management model. The first phase was to encourage the local government in Kepahiang District to enact a regional regulation on implementing anti-corruption education amongst academic units. The second phase was the preparation of curricular documents for the TK, SD, SMP, and PKBM academic units. During this phase, working groups were formed to prepare syllabi and lesson plans (RPP) for anti-corruption education in TK, SD, SMP, and PKBM units. Working groups (POKJA) comprised the principals, teachers, and tutorials formed by the curriculum department, the head of education and culture office, and an education practitioner from a university. The next phase was a workshop on the syllabi and lesson plan preparation by inviting educational experts, after which the settlement and legalization were carried out. Future research is expected to conduct a multivariate analysis of anti-corruption management factors and constructs to provide balanced data from a quantitative standpoint.
