Abstract
Children are assets that determine the survival,quality and glory of a nation in the future.Therefore,children need tobe conditioned so that can grow and defelop optimally and be educated ass well as possible so that in the future they will become the next generation with good character and personality.The purpose of this study was to determine the role of parents in shaping the tribal character of childrend in Muara Tiku village. In understanding the role of parents in shaping the character of children,the tribe of children in north Musi Rawas.Qualitative descristive method is the data collected in the form of words. Pictures and not numbers,research that contains data citations to illustrate the role of parents shaping the character of tribal children in Musi Rawas Utara.And collecting interview,observationand documentation data. Parents’understanding of the importance of religius character is very much needed and all parents must understandind that religious character is instilled in children become good individuals,and humans who have naoble and pious character as desired in Islamic religious education,nowadays. The globalized world will affect the religious character.Parental guidance and attention is needed for the sake of forming religious character in children avoid the influence of triends,a bad environment and the influence of bad times.Implementation of character binguilding between research findings on the role of parents in shaping the character of tribal children in providing(a)habitution,(b)exemplary,(c)reinforcement.The factors that influence biological and environmental factors. The inhibiting factors found in others:Global cultural factors and technology.
