Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate and analyze the implementation of RSDBI policy at SDN Centre Curup. The analysis covers 5 criteria of evaluation based on the Regulation of National Education Ministry of Indonesia No. 78 2009 about the policy on International Standard of High school. The data were collected through interview, observation and document analysis that used some research instruments: interview guidance, checklist and field notes. Furthermore the data were analyzed and elaborated based on the criteria of evaluation. This study finds that: (1) from the aspect of institution development which has been done by this elementary school, this school has fulfilled the criteria being RSDBI and changed its status from RSDBI into SDBI; (2) the curriculum used is also suitable to the standard of SDBI; (3) unfortunately, for the other three aspects, involvement of the environment, infrastructure and financial aspect, in fact have not been in accordance with the standard of SDBI. Based on some findings above, the development of quality institutionally needs to always be done. Keywords: Evaluation, Implementation and Policy of SBI.
